Which of these should i go for ?

Western Digital 250 GB Passport or
Seagate 250 GB Freeagent

Both are 2.5" USB power drives.

Good choices,

but WD wins over Seagate merely bcoz of the PP size and its stable too.. so go for WD

Bought Transcend Storejet 25 Mobile 250GB for Rs.4250 yesterday. The Passport was on its way out in Bangalore market.. being replaced by the flimsy WD Elements. Seagate Freeagent is shamelessly expensive.

Pretty impressed by this Storejet. Has the toughest protection I've ever seen for an external drive (apparently meets the US Military drop test). Speed is impressive; a sustained 28 MB/s Write. Also has one-touch backup (button).

@infra_red_dude

Is the transcend one a 2.5" one ?

But i saw this on futurebazaar.com and the rate is 5750 bucks. How did u get at this price ?

It seems that the transcend one is the cheapest of the lost. Should i go for this ?

I will be going to Lamington road tomm

yep.. its 2.5. I guess the 5.75k is for 320GB. 250GB is surely not that costly. I'm happy with the product
