unable to change user name

i have hp-dv6767 laptop.from the very first day, it is displaying the user name as "bnnjhj". there is no rename option in pop up. after changing the user name in user account control to another name, it only displays the new name in start menu but not in C:/Users. in c:/users/bnnjhj, all files are that of the new user that i created.
when i run winver.exe, it displays that the product is licensed to bnnjhj,Hewlett-Packard.
Plz help me to change that username .

^^You have to make changes in registry if you want to change the name of person to whom windows is licensed

thank you very much but how to change that in registry?????

i have changed the registered name in reg editor.but the username in c:/users still remains there.

go to registry editor... (Type regedit in Run dialog box)

Now press CTRL + F to open up the Find... box

Type bnnjhj and let it search...

Keep on correcting the entries as u find them... Restart...
