ax3 Cool as a CUCUMBAR ! ! ! Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 5,052	Changing page link name i have uploaded all my files on geocities ... instead of this link www.geocities.com/myname/index.htm it only shows www.geocities.com/myname how can i change it to www.geocities.com/myname/index.htm ???

hi
ur website's url will be www.geocities.com/yourname

then, 'index.htm' or 'index.html' or 'defaul.asp' will be the default page of ur website..

therefore whn u type www.geocities.com/yourname/index.htm in ur browser, it wll show u as www.geocities.com/yourname only..

so, there is no point in changing to www.geocities.com/yourname/index.htm
