my computer showing error on windows 98 the error is :

this proogram has performed an illegal operatio and will be shut down
EXPLORER caused a general protection fault

protection fault generally arises when any of your program tries to access your kernal memory space(restricted because its like the heart of ur OS), since you have not told what application u were running or installed has led to this, it is impossible to sort out your problem.

Do you get this error frequently? Update Internet Explorer to IE 6 SP1, if you havent done it already.
Download here
Also, try reinstalling Audio and Video drivers.

Hey I had posted this error before got no result and problem had gone. But, the problem is back and it lies in the windows>minidum. The problem might be with the ram not responding for the os(xp). Recently installed autopatcher march edition. next thing this problem.
