I have sub titles for a movie in *.sub & *.txt format. I have the movie in *.avi format. I want to create a video file for burning with sub titles. Please help!

Hmm... Did you tried using VirtualDub ...? I think there is plugin for the same use in it ...

Batty is right. Get the Subtitler plug-in by Avery Lee for VirtualDub and under Video>Filters>Add, select Subtitler. Be warned that you need a SSA subtitle file, but you can convert .srt or .sub to SSA using the programs SRT 2 SSA and SUB 2 SSA. You can look at the guides here for more information on burning DVD-Video with subtitles. Or you can use Nero Recode for the same, but its not as efficient as VDub.

Default DVD lab pro

Well i've burned DVD's with subtitle using MPEG files and it works.
Try doing this:-
Convert the avi file into mpeg.Once you have the mpeg and sub file for the movie you can use DVD lab pro for writing the DVD.
I hope this works for you.
You can download DVD Lab pro from this link :-
