I got 7250i and wana upgrade my phone to Series 60 platform.
Which one should I buy...Plz tell me ur recommended phone's features 8)

I you are not interested in FM Radio but want MP3 Player and others then go for 6230 and if you wanna invest money then nothing better than 6630

LOl , anubhav_har, our friend wants to choose from 6630 or 7610 and how did 6230 come into this picture?
Also our friend seems to have left for 6230i , where there was a discussion already done.


To choose from 6630 or 7610, i would prefer 6630. It has got better features and a newer phone than 7610.
In all respects it got better features and a better phone than 7610.

If v take a closer look than 6630 only leads frm 7610 in EDGE and slightly good camera...4 this 6630 costs 25K If v c 2day's technology and of future than 7610 rocks in features and in price of 16K...I just wondered if I opt 4 6630 than 4 wht I'm paying 10K more

First of all 6630 costs only rs. 20k.

Also 6630 got more memory, EDGe, better battery thsn 7610 has got, so the 3k difference.

Nokia 6630 has EDGE and UMTS whereas Nokia 7610 lacks it.

As is visible 7610 is sleeker.
7610 lacks MP3 player which 6630 boasts of. But u can download Ultra MP3 or MP3 player softwares for playing MP3s.

In terms of memory 6630 has 10MB internal +64MB MMC wheras 7610 has 8MB internal + 64MB internal.

Regarding battery both the models pack a Li-Ion 900 mAh battery.
Although 6630 has double the talktime than 7610
(360 mins -6630 and 180mins-7610)

I would suggest u to go for Nokia 7610 becoz for the mp3 part u can download the softwares and regarding the EDGE and UMTS you would not need it in the near future.

i bought a 7210 3 days back .. i got it from prabha devi bby for 17.5 .. the 6630 was for 26.5 .. the only diff was the camera was 1.3mpxl instead of 1 .. the mp3 player u can d/l so its not worth payin 9 grand for that ...

hey, 6680 is availible thru all nokia priority dealers, there was a full page ad in ht delhi three days ago. Always think be4 u buy, and everyone knows about 6630

Well Id suggest U wait for a little while until the N series gets launched in June.........best camera 2mega pixels..3G.....well and all the features as that In Nokia 6630.......and to add more N90 & N91 would have .......hufffff........Rocking features.......pal why dun u check out the Nokia website.......itz just one month ..A fe w K's more and there it is the Ultimate Phone.....

well I know its gonna cost well beyond 30K.......but N70's starting pirce would be around 29K something considering that 6680 during its launch.the starting price was 30k something now its come down to 26K.........within 2 weeks time or so.........

and ya about 4Gb memory feature thats only for the Mp3 Nokia phone N91......

So guys suggest me 2 wait until d prices drop of 6630...Not a bad idea,but my current phone's price is also going down which is making me MAD It is d main cons of Cell-Phone market

Hey, Why don't you buy either Nokia 6600 or Nokia 7610. Both the models are good and are well priced. I personally own a Nokia 6600 it lacks MP3 player and a radio.
I installed ULtraMP3 player to play MP3s. I don't care about the radio. It has 6MB internal + 30MB MMC card with it. As it is a Series 60 model you can download loads of software to further increse its utility. I downloaded dozens of freeware games and softwares for it.

Saari confusions toh baad mai teh mairey frnds aj 7610 lai aaiay...It's a gud Series 60 phone,here 6630 costs 25K so i save 8.5K on buying 7610 I'm not a bussines man who need 6630.Acc. 2 me casual user must settle for these type of phones!
Now anybody know frm where can I download FREE tones,Games,Themes,App. for my 7610...THX 4 ur kind replies
