hidden files

Whenever I click on Show hidden files and folder it is not enable next time.I know there is something wrong with registry value.Any Idea.

Find this key in your registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden]

Modify the string value "Type" and enter "group" as value data.

After the edit is complete hit F5 to refresh, and go look in your Folder Options.

If the problem still remains then change the registry value as given below

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL]
"CheckedValue"=dword:00000000
