Default Scanning will serve my purpose ?

Hello friends,

i have a job of typing 150+ pages. it is very tedious and time consuming. i am thinking about purching a All-in-one printer which can print, scan, and even copy. now my questions are :

1) will this hardware come with the bundled software thru which i can scan the page and convert it to ms word or any other format ?

2) if yes, what will be the extension of scanned filed ?

3) if no, are there any softwares freely available to convert the scaned files to any other format ?

4) which is the cheapest A-I-O device with onsite warranty and good features?
