Default Please comment on system config

Hi,

My friend wants to a buy a new PC, so we went to the dealer and he quoted this price for the AMD 64 bit 2800+ system. Is it okay? Or is he way overcharging? Also, is it a good config? Don't want to play games, just normal use.

Asus Motherboard + AMD64 2800 CPU = 9400
512 MB RAM (hynix) = 2400
80GB hdd (seagate SATA) = 3000
17" Monitor = 6000
KBD + Mouse (Logitech Optical Mouse) = 750
DVD Combo Drive = 2700
Cabinet (iBall brand) = 1350
UPS (iBall brand) = 1700
VAT = %4 = 1200
Warranty and delivery = 500
Total = 29000

Thanks.
Goobimama.

Just one change recommended. Buy separate DVD-ROM and CD-Writer. Refer here for the reason http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19555

Ok guys ..after going thru all your suggestions...I've decided for this PC config that I'm going to purchase this saturday...
AMD 939 3000+
MSI RS 480 M2 (integrated graphis)
creative inspire 5.1 or altec lancing 251...depends..what sounds better that day...
160 Gb SATA seagate or samsung...depends whichis cheaper...
A good cabinet and power supply combnattion...now here i require ur suggestion regarding where in lamington roadi can get this at areasonable price...my budget for this is 2.5 K
Sony dvd writer...availability of benq is difficult plus support probs...
512 X 2 RAM ...I hope Transcend won't cost me earth.( < 5.5 K)..otherwise I'll go for good hynix...
15" LCD monitor....now which one shall i buy....
other usual stuff....

give me your opinions..ny changes...and gimme approx prices....suggest some good shops in lammy where i can get these...I thinking searching for MSI MB is going to be tiresome...

well this is what i got yesterday....
AMD64 939 3200----9950/-
3000+ was available for 7500/-
ASUS A8 NE ---8650/-
the vendor was quorting 10250 for MSI nforce 4 motherboard....when he brought it..i saw that it was a non ultra version...
17" LCD TFT....sony hs74P...has dvi in---22330/-
why i went for sony..hmm my gf insisted...otherwise a wiser choice is to go for BENQ 71E..has dvi in response time 12 ms..available for 17250/-
i don't go by digit compaison...it has given pureview more score than benq in its feature test..hile pureview res time is 25 ms...lum 250cdno dvi..compared to benq fp 783..res time 12ms dvi and 300 cd/m2 lum.....further philips 170s5fb doesn't has dvi as mentioned in the comparison chart...
gfx card..gigabyte x300se...coz it was the cheapest pcx card i could get..it is 64 bit version with 128mb ram...got it for 3900/-

cabinet antec----4250/-..same model in whilte was offeres for 500 less....
keyboard..ikey desgner powerkey...800/-
seagate sata 160 gb ..4325/-
all prices including vat....
