Unable to open various websites

hi friends

i am unable to get search results from google, sites like orkut, pcworld.in, etc not opening on neither firefox nor IE6.

I use Kaspersky Internet Security 7. I generated a log also thru hijack this and i can post it here if required.

plz give in some suggestions.

Try to shutdown Kapersky for few minutes and see if you get it to work!

though not very useful but this trick might be useful and fun...
sometimes the particular sites like HI5 and facebook are blocked in colleges as student waste their time...but the interesting part is that...we can still use it...hehhe...through PROXIES!..and u can have fun and amaze ur friends....good luck!!
however using these sites will be bit slower than using it direct from browser...i guess!! not sure..i am new here!!
