which computer table to buy ?

hello ,

i know this is sounds sort of foolish . . but i want to know what things should i look for while i buy a table . are there any specific companies from which can pick. the one thing that i'll look for is leg rest .

i have a 17' CRT. .the satellites go on the table but where should i keep the larger woofer of mine ?

any suggestions are welcome.

Have you visited the furniture market and checked out some models? You will get a better idea then.

Whatever you buy, ensure that The place where you keep the cabinet is well ventilated. Don't make a mistake like me and go for a small form factor table where the cabinet is in a tiny enclosure in the bottom, without any ventilation and driving the temperature in the motherboard crazy.

actually , a few months back , i got a custom made one but it ended up so badly that i had to use it as a tv table. . i'll go to the furniture shop and see what i can get.

Just check how comfortable you feel sitting in front of it. the hieght of the keyboard and monitor etc.

How much should a good n large custom made cost? Need space for printer, 19"lcd, subwoofer, cabby, kb, mouse? I dont like the ergonomics of a sliding kb+mouse tray.
