Q9300--E8500 which is better????

hi everybody....just wanna know which one of these is better q9300 or e8500....the prices differ by just a 100bucks.... im gonna use it for gaming as well as multimedia..

out of those 2 - E8500 rocks
but a better choice is Q6600 coz Q9300 cant be OC'ed much.another good option is the E8400..great VFM.will save u some extra bucks for the mobo and overclocks very well.
considering the future Q6600 > e8400 . Ati cards performed better on quad in every game.test conducted by en.hardspell.com

but i've heard that Q6600 has got some heating issues and Q9300 does not...

no it doesnt.
the correct statement is "Q6600 heats more than Q9300 or any other 45nm" ..my Q6600 at 3.8ghz goes max to 67degrees on ultima 90i.which isnt the best cooler available.

so...which one should i go for.....i've seen some comparisons between q9300, E8500, and phenom.....and q9300 got 9/10 and the other two got 8/10.....what do u guys say?
