CANNOT LOCATE CD-ROM

Cannot Locate CD-ROM
Am using WinXP on P4 2.8 HT and 2x256 mb DDR SDRAM 400.
When I try to run two of my games it gives message :
CANNOT LOCATE CD-ROM
Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select o.k.
and restart application.
No matter how many times I put the correct CD-ROM either Disk1 or Disk2 the same message appears.
The games are NSP2 and FIFA
Please help me sort out this problem.

Are you using pirated discs by any chance? If they are original, then try re-installing the games. Which version of FIFA is it? And is NSP2=Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2? Or some other game?

Do you the same issue with any other games and/or software or music discs?

Use virtual CD drives software like CDSpace Power or somthing .. dump the cds as virtual CD and load tht cd whenever u want.

BTW We shud not talk abt cracks/illegals here.
