Default No signal Message, Plz help.

Whenever I am shutting down my computer running 17" Amconics Monitor, the following message is displayed just before the system fully turns off and smps fan stops rotating.
No signal. Video Cable connected?
A graphics displaying different colours upon a band is also displayed.
How to remove such message? Please note that I have checked the monitor cable connection to ascertain it to be properly fixed.

Default Re: No signal Message, Plz help.

As the Cpu is off and the monitor is not off it does not get any input message from the Cpu so automatically the monitor goes into the standby mode(LED to the power button changes to yellow).I think its normal .The graphic displaying the various color bands is normal too. That's what happens with me minus the graphics display. Most probably it cannot be removed
