Crosair voyager and transcend jetflash v10 8gb come just below 2k and are killers.

You can get Transcend 4 gb pendrive for Rs 650 and 8 gb for 1300at Sara bazar near Croforwd Market, Masjid bunder.

Corsair voyager beats cruzer or cruzer micro hands down in read nd write speeds. Voyager 4G is for 700/- and 8Gb is for 1500/-. It has 10 yrs warranty too nd is shock proof. that means it will still work if u throw it down from a 2nd floor.

I own a sandisk micro 2Gb and voager 4 and 8G models. Im really unsatisfied with my U3 sandisk. the U3 features seems much of a useless thing after some days. And provided antivirus is gud for nothin even with frequent updates.

BTW, u can install custom usb quick launch menu with any apps u choose. U can find plenty of alternatives to U3 on portableapps.com
And Sandisk U3 micr's build quality has to improve much if u intend on daily use. Dust can accmulate in b/w the sliding mechanism nd it ll become somewhat stuck nd its not an easy job to clean it.

thanx 4 awesum advise dominator. Today i searched lot 4 corsair voyager at thane,only one shop had it at 2.2k for 4gb.nobody had 8gb model. So i want 2 ask u ,r u frm mumbai? Where can i buy at price u quoted in above posts? Thanx .
