Site where coders can collaborate nd work on projects???

Hey guys i was lookin for a site or forum where coders can team up nd work on projects(for free)...small projects even, jus for the heck of it nd yea sm experience... pls let me kno..

Open source and 'collaborating with coders to free projects' are two different things.
