Default System setting default


Hi, I have some problem with my pc. Few days ago my pc suffer form a some problem due to which my system hard disk does not get open by double click on it, when we click on any disk drive it give open with window, that problem is resolve.
Now I am facing another problem i.e. when I open my folder option and make any changes and apply it, it still remain same due to which I am unable to access my hidden folders.....is there any method to solve this problem,

please help I need my personal files badly.....!!!
