Smile Malicious program adb.com

I am using Windows XP. Recently, I have installed HP Scanjet 2400 software. Since then, my drives, C, D, E, F are not displaying anything. If I press Drives (c,d,e,f) then the following message appearing.

Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You
may not have the appropriate permission to access the item.

---
I am using Zone Alarm. This Zone Alarm is giving the following message.

Z Program Control
------------------
adb.com is a malicious program and was prevented from
running on your computer.

When I copied some files into my Flash drive (Pen drive), and when I kept in another file that flash drive is also indicating in the other computer (office computer) same message

adb.com is a malicious program and was prevented from
running on your computer.

Solution: If I exit the Zone Alarm, then all drives are being opened and functioning normally.
But the Pen Drive is not being opened in the other PC.

Please indicate the solution to remove this adb.com malicious ware.

I was able to find some information and a potential software to remove it. Am not sure if its freeware though.
