how did Safari get this ???
2day i installed Safari 3.1 ..... its damn good .... a lot faster & cool 2 .....
i use FF & didnt import all my bookmarks bt STILL how did IT get all my visited sites list which were cleared by FF ?
the list is "OOH MY GOD", all of them .... which file stores all this info ?

I think the automatic import option imports from Internet explorer??

yes, Safari is damn faster ...... & importing of bookmarks is ok ..... bt visited sites from FF also .... & those 2 were deleted\erazed, how did it catch them ?

thats nothing. Konqueror can use the plugins I installed for firefox, and it too is insanely fast compared to firefox. I suppose Safari can do the same because it is Konqueror's son.

what @metalgowtham said is not heard by any?safari -it ripped from Khtml using konqueror web browser to make webkit library.
Konqueror is a good browser!try it!(sorry windows guys!)

It's simple. while being installed it automatically detects any installed browser and imports bookmarks from them. nothing spooky!!!

It only imports them from Internet Explorer, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

It's Apple, man. Steve Jobs tells the engineers to do it and they implement the feature, whether it's possible or not notwithstanding.
