whenever i put any any cd or dvd on my cd drive then while copying items from there to my hard drive my computer gets very slow. i have good config. which can run such program easily but is it due to any virus?

Check if DMA is enabled for ur optical drive and hard drive.

I think yo*r *D drive is fa*lty. however before trying to get it repaired j*st try a lens *leaner. I got one philips DVD lens *leaner for 150. worked fine for me. *d lens *leaner sho*ld be *heaper.
