Default ***My PC Sucks***


Hey...My PC shuts down automatically after 10-15 min. First d monitor than d PC gets off! I check all joints,wires and both fans r working fine but when I touch d heat-sink of processor,It becomes so hot that should not b within 15 min..! My configration is as follows :

AMD Athlon 2000+
ASUS Motherboard
256 MB RAM
20 GB HDD
Win XP Pro

PLEASE HELP...IT'S SO IMPORTANT 4 ME...THANKS IN ADVANCE

pls check your CPU fan for RPM... also possable that the heat sink is not properly fit in... try fitting it again(dont forget to check the thermal paste)

Over heating problem: Solution
Clean the cpu + heatsink
Unclutter the box
Add new inlet and exaust fan
replace / upgrade cpu fan+ heatsink.
Use good heatsink compound between cpu + heatsink
