Default Parite removal

My computer is infected with a parite virus. I used to AVG free edition to detect it but could not heal the files. I dont want to delete the files.....is there a way to remove the virus without removing the files.

I have tried with the removal tool but the tool itself was infected with the same virus.

parite is a memory based virus that attacks .exe and SCR files.. they get stored in the Registry as parite.a and gets multiplied.. it gets stored here

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\PINF

this then terminates and causes problems to Explorer..

btw frm wher u downloaded the removal tool?

visit this site for more info.. on how to remove it..

Try a few other tools, like the one here. Maybe they will work this time.
