lot of POPups!I need help.

when i turn my net on lot of popups come in time interval of 5 min
it says


"your pc is infected with 47 instances of spyware!"
i have used all kind of antispywares.including adaware se,spybot search and destroy etc.i also formated my PC twice.but no use.
I use pacenet(broadband service).
i need a solution. i cant paly asingle game as they keep on poping.

it may be a browser loophole too...possibly u r using IE...
using XP SP2 or firefox 1.0+ can simply solve the pop up probs...

if not,try running a pop up blocker..to download one,u know where to go...ever heard of GOOGLE?

switch 2 opera or firefox . dump IE
in these u can set the type of pop-ups u want , or entirely block them

assuming ur system is not infected by any malware,
like raven said ,its just a simple popup.
if u want to prevent pop ups ,there are a lot of free toolbars availabe google,yahoo,msn and others.i find google to be the best among them.

strange reformatting didnt solve the problem !

scrub your pc with a coule of good anti-spywares. also to be safe, use ccleaner. then try using MAXTHON browser. its got a good ad and a pop-up blocker.

Which anti-spyware proggy r u using? and more importantly is that updated? Is yur AV updated? IS yur OS SP'ed? Yea, even 98 has a 'service pack' - an update.

Would b nice to have some more specifics?

i use mozilla fire fox, there is an option to block pop up ads, try using it,,may be u will fell better using this.
