What is more powerfule Core Java or Java ?
Hi,
I want to know like if we compare notepad and ms word than ms word is more powerful
now
if we compare core java and java than what is more powerful ?

I know only 2 types of Java in common world, Core Java and Advance Java.
Now, as you are referring Core Java and
Java
, do u mean Advance Java?
Note : Some people says that there are more variants of Java like
Mar-Java
and
Mit-Java
....

surely out of core java and advance java
advance java is more powerful(if we can compare them)
i doubt we can compare them becoz once i had similar ques to someone and he replied tell me which is more...one kg or one dozen

Woah Woah Woah!,
There aint no such thing as Core and Advanced Java,
Java is a single programming language
Sun provides 3 API's :
Java SE - Standard Edition
Java EE - Enterprise Edition
Java ME -Micro Edition
What these institutes do is, split Java SE into two parts called Core and Advanced for their purpose to make more $.
