Please Answer............

Here are 2 questions that I wanted to ask :-

1.)Why does the error "Could not perform Fixation" occurs in Nero
& what are the ways to prevent it ?

2.)How can I lock a drive with a password so that no one can
view/edit the contents of the drive ?

Put everything in ther partition in a Folder
Install Magic Folders
This software allows u to hide ur files (encrypt it if u like)
No one can see the file unless U un-hide after typing a password

Or else
If u are an admin
Make the drive private in security and Sharing options (right click --> Properties)

No one else can read or do anything to it

Folder Security Personal is a good option and so is Gatekeeper.

And about the fixation error. I have encountered that sometimes and mostly if i use some local CD and i burn it to the max.

1.This error is caused mostly due to bad quality media.
2.Get any folder locking utility like Antarius mentioned.

well bout the other prob u can simpally install TweakUI..and Hide the Drive....so unless some one know that the drive Exists..ur data is safe...also its not shown if u click on SHow Hidden Files/System Files

for 98 u can simply Click on Rename Folder and type 0255 While Holding ur Alt Key..u will get this sign ÿ b4 ur Folder name.... thus it wont be opned by any 1...u can always remove the ÿ sign when u want to see the Folder..
or simplay Create 2 Batch files
1 with

ren x:\path\foldername ÿfoldername

and other with

ren x:\path\ÿfoldername foldername
