Acer or Dell

Hi Guys,

I want a laptop in range of 30-40k and have narrowed down to Acer5920 and Dell1525. I will be opting for the same config in either one of them. Which would be better??

Config:
T5550 or T7250Help me here...
2G Ram
160G HDD
6 cell battery

Go for Dell. Acer are giving lots of trouble.
T7250 has 2.0 Ghz, 800mhz fsb compared to 1.6Ghz and 667 fsb of T5450.

Opt for T7250 which is some 2.5k more expensive if u choose dell.

Let us know more details like what will be the target use, whether portability is more important or screen resolution, is it for light word processing/ internet browsing or is it going to be used for gaming and video editing...things like that...so that we can suggest the best for your specific requirements.

I will be using it for mainly programming purposes(.net & java), browsing and movies.

Gte the dell one with screen resolution 1440*900 which will be gud for movies nd webdesigning.
