Default Normal Format or Quick Format HDD drives????

What are the pros and cons of QUICK FORMAT and NORMAL FORMAT???

What is btter or good for the HDD?? Its always boring to sit looking at the formatting when you normally format a drive but quick format is lightning fast .

What do you prefer and what is better??

Well, a full format completely erases a hard drive, sector by sector, but quick format just erases the FAT and nulls the pointers, so lost file recovery programs can find them easily. Also, full format has the advantage of checking for bad sectors. Do whatever you like to.

No but it does strain it a bit more, if you can use that factor for accounting loss in life of the HDD. Repeatedly doing so may affect but its never needed, unless you're selling your HDD away.
