Please note I dont have a roof fan installed. If u feel that i am bluffing, U r welcome to visit my home.I dont have digicam , will try to post some photos soon.
how weired is your idea of fitting fans in your ram sticks ? why dont you go for a fan under your hard disk instead which is rather realistic? this aint a joking place man..
and i hope u must be using an onboard soundcard !!! which u have to cool it with 2 fans insted of one.. and i sugggest u fit some more fans in your system and u can convert it to a flying machine....
If you OC your RAM then forced air cooling is required so the fan on the ram is justified.
I too am what i would say a fan freak my P3 has the folloing
SMPS -2
CPU -1
North Bridge - 1
case Exaust -2
Case In -1
HDD (SCSI) -2
VGA -1
And an external fan for the data one modem
so the total =10
COULD ANYONE PLS EXPLAIN HOW I CAN FIT FANS ON RAM CHIPS ?
MY RAMS CAN BE OVERCLOCKED LITTLE MORE, BUT NEEDS MORE COOLING FOR THAT..CURRENTLY I AM USING ALUMINIUM HEAT SPREADERS FROM A DEAD KINGSTON EXTREME EDITION RAM..BUT IT TOO HEATS UP A LOT...AND I USE ARTIC SILVER 5 STRIPS AS HEATSINK COMPOUND.

Depends what uou use your system for. I have a p3 866 OC to 910 running gentoo and when it compiles a large package cpu temp reach ranges of 89+ at times.
