Default Recovery Of "Prior To Save" File

Hi all

I am stuck with a problem in EXCEL.

By mistake I pressed 'Save' instead of 'Save As' for a file and I need the prior to Save file. How do I recover it ? Please help !!

Thanks

OOps ...dude when ever you save a file then the Old contents are replaced by new contents , also as the Contents & not the file are being deleted so no Recovery software can help you ..but you can still try n use these softwares..but i dont know if they will help or not

1. Use the save as option as save it as the new file you wanted to save.
2. Delete the changes that you did by mistake and again use the Save as option as save it as the old file.

It may be tedious but could be the last resort if everything other fails
