When I start my PC a file name "Windows Script Host Settings" and "My Document" folders open automatically. Is registry problem? I am unable to stop or disable this command. How can I do without reloading Windows. I am using Windows XP (SP 2).Please help and advice.

Default Re: Is registry problem?

hmm.......

Ur system can also be infected with Virus, Trojans, Adwares that makes ur My Document and Windows Script Host Settings file open or it can also be due to Registry Problem.

Scan ur pc with a powerful antivirus and report us that whether u have found any threats or not.

In the same use HijackThis and post ur log file in this thread so that we can see if there is any unknown thing in ur system.

And if it is a Registry Problem u can wait for Vishal Gupta as he is master in registry.

I am not so Genius in Registry than Vishal Gupta still I think it is not a Regisrty problem.
