help needed in p2p programs

hi

i am using a local internet cable connection.
my isp has recently employed a proxy server
n eversince i am unable to run p2p softwares such as warez and dc++

i m using bittorrent which is working fine in which i specified the
proxy type: http1.1
proxyserver:192.168.1.253
proxy port:3128

i tried to apply the settings to warez and dc++ but it didnt worked
warez search just shows no results n dc++ is unable to load the hublist


can any1 deatil me abt the stepwise settings of above mentioned programs.

i have my connection settings as follows

TCP/IP properties

IP 192.168.1.143
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.1.253

preferred dns server 192.168.1.253
alt dns server 61.0.1.106

in internet options
proxyserver:192.168.1.253
proxy port:3128


help me any1

just take it as learning more about proxy

well if BT is workin id suggest u stick with torrents.. and dont go into warez.. moreover torrents are much safer than kaazaa stuffs.. there is a detailed query thread already running...
