audiophiliac woes..

hey people .. i currenty own a sony psp for games and music but the sound quality is disappointing for me.. can you suggest a good cheap pmp with excellent sound quality? i dont need a screen or for it to look cool or too much storage (1-4 GB should be enough) .. i just need EXCELLENT SOUND QUALITY! . and please recommend something less than 5k because i blew all my money on the psp


and also recommend a good pair of earphones with i repeat EXCELLENT SOUND QUALITY .. i i need good bass good high and lows good everything.. i have a budget of around 1500 for the earphones.. i looked at the creative ep 550 or 600 something and they were good but not too great.. can you recommend something better ? i listen to a lot of hiphop / rock .. thanks

my friend has the creative 630 .. i think its good but im not satisfied.. can you recommend me something better in its price range or anything less than 1500 rupees.. how about headphones? i want my music to sound really good..

and is transcend t sonic 630 good ? i need good sound quality and nothing else.. what is the price of transcend ? and how does it compare with ipod shuffle? also i am not fond of things like fm radio.. thanks

I think Creative Ep 630 is the best u can get for nething less that rs 1.5k.
Transcend's audio quality is not that good(tried with bundled earphone,not sure with good earphones),Creative Zen is a better choice.Heard that Sansa is the best below 5k Range.

Anyone tried the Apacer steno pmp that DIGIT mag gave such a good rating??How is it actually.Seems a v.good one for rs 1.7 k.

PS:Am not sure whether u can have a pmp which sounds better than psp(incl extra earphone) at 5k.

psp has so low volume that they are unbearable..
