Default DV to Audio Video Converter


Sir,
Please tell me Dv to AV converter is available in the indian market.if so what is the price. i want to use the converter for editing with adobe premier. presently i am using my DV Camera to get the preview on TV.

Why look for a hardware solution, when software like Sony Vegas can do the same for you.

I use a cheap ($20) firewire card to transfer DV to my PC, then use TMPGEnc for basic editing and conversion to Mpeg2. DVD-Lab for DVD authoring with menu's and Nero to burn the DVD.

Ah, just read your post again. Missed the part on Adobe Premiere. All you need is a firewire card to transfer DV to your PC. You can then edit it with Premiere (can't help you here as Premiere is way beyond my editng requirements and budget)

Please tell me many of the studios use
Final cut pro for video editing
But i have windows
so tell me the software which is equal to Final cut pro
and tell me its latest version

m not much into video editing , but u can directly convert frm ur DV 2 divx using Dr.Divx . would save u space on the files without compromising much on the quality
