Strange Problem

For the past 2 days I'm not able to access Pirate Bay or even get search results from Google. Ping response is active and OK but in browser it continues to show "Waiting for Google.co.in" similarly in TPB's case. Help!

try using http://www.opendns.com DNS ip's and see if you can visit the sites (how to for configuring is given in the site itself and is pretty simple)

There might be a firewall blocking the communication, if u have recently installed a firewall, check the configuration.

Found the problem myself. It was a Trojan preventing access to various sites
. As I had a Vista transformation Pack installed in my previous OS so Spyware Doctor wasn't able to update itself. Now re-formatted the system and Updated and scanned the whole machine. Everything is OK now. Thanx for the Help.
