IP address of chatting person???

Is it possible to find the IP address of the person whom we are chatting with?

whois on irc reveals the IP

I am on meebo.... is it possible there... If not, I can install Pidgin... is it possible there... And how do i do it... Can u explain in detail...

if u asking about d other chat networks den i got no ida

but in irc

/whois nickname (member who is present)

/whowas nickname (member who left)

Wrote it a loong time back. Dunno if it works anymore. Besides, I remember Gaim tells u the LAN IP of the target PC. U only needed to initiate and recieve a chat.

ask th eperson to mail u,then go to the properties of that mail and search for
'generating' ip address
