about free bsd given in this month's digit

i mean how to install it, i have burned the iso image but i am hesitating to try it. is its installation is like linux. do things that run in linux could be runned in bsd. the exact problem is how to install it keeping my windows and ubuntu entact....

you need a primary partition it can be configured to a userfriendly OS ,BUT...you have to be ready to use terminal and know about ports.
also drivers are lacking for some wireless cards and other stuffs

i have a 40 GB HDD lyin @ home

plan to subject it to all evil twisted partition, OS related expts on it

will virualization software like virtual box will be able to run thoose ISOs but i think virtualization works only with live cd or iso of live cd am i wrong

if yes then how to run thoose bsd iso coz in virtual box it start as if it is going to install
