Upgrading OS

I have installed XP and Vista of 32bit editions and i have a processor which is a 64 bit one.

So installing 64 bit OS have noticeable changes in terms of performance and stability and does 64 bit support all software like visula basic 2008 and photoshop cs3

I asked this question becoz tuneup utilities asked me to upgrade my OS to 64 Bit one

i have XP64 and its no better than the normal, i would not recomand you XP64, although cs3 VB 08 will work fine on it, you will have problems finding drivers for some older hardware.

i am now shifting to the old normal 32 bit XP.

as for the performance i did not see any drastic improvements.
