I was using Windows Defragmenting utility earlier when I came to know abt Diskeeper.
Well, I just ran it over all my partitions. By God its SUPERFASSSSSSSTTT!! I was amazed. But then after restart nothing came after the POST.
Well I tried each and every means to recover my OS but to no avail!
So I had to reinstall XP all over again. Well this time I tried it again on all the drives and LO the system again didn't boot after restart.
I was shaken but had no other way except install the OS all over again.
But here's the catch! I ran it again on all the drives except the Root Drive (C
and voila the system is working fine ever since.
Complicating the problems, Diskeeper has replaced the Windows Defragmenting utility also. And I don't want to revert back to it coz of its slow speed.
So guys, get your grey ceels to work and tell me the cause of this.
Did Diskeeper move the System Files too which made tyhe system crash, or is it something else.
My PC config. is :-
915G Intel Original, 3.0 Ghz HT, 256 MB 400Mhz, 80GB Seagate SATA, etc.
And tell me do I have to install extra fans in the cabinet as the CPU is getting heated too much. Around 70 degree C or above is its temp when I operate it.
