what is sfv ??

i have recently d/l some files from the net which are been split in to r00,r01.....etc , so when i try to extract these files i get archive currupt msg ...i already deleted approx 2 GB of data coz of this corrupt rar's ....
any ways today when i ched it..then there is a sfv file in it....and when i opened it with notepad....there is a list of all the files ie r00,r01...etc and some bizzar nos b4 them...(seems to me like CRC no's)


SO what is this sfv file ??? and is it showing corrupt bcoz..i havnt implemeted it some how????
and how to implement it in Winrar ???

so in short again my efforts went to drain coz had to delet 1.5GB file
damn from now on i wonn d/l any thing that is in Pieces
