Want to buy an internal SATA HDD and convert it into external HDD
I want to purchase a internal SATA HDD of about 1TB or more and want to convert it into external HDD.
1. What will be the approx. cost of the required internal HDD?
2. How can I convert internal to external, and how much will that cost?
I live in Mumbai, can you also tell me the cheapest place in Mumbai for this job?

Yes you can convert Internal Hard disk into external. For that you need a SATA to USB cable. cant say exact price.

convert your HDD into USB Driver and it can be used as External, so it will be easy to use on any other PC also like a Pen Drive

I remember getting about 160 GB for 3.6K about 4 yrs back. I switched from PCs to laptops and external hardisks after that. I guess you should be able to get around 300 GB or so for 3k ??

You can get a multiple (PATA, SATA to USB) converter. I would not go for local ones. I got one for 20€ about an year back and it is working fine!! That should be sufficient and would be almost the same rate even now.

But what about the cost of 1TB SATA internal HDD?
And where in Mumbai, will I get all this stuff in the cheapest cost?
