IP address

Hi.
I ve got MTNL Triband DSL connection.
I want to know the actual IP address of my system.
The ipconfig command displays only the ;ocal IP : 192.168.1.2.
How do I find my IP address.?
Is it static or dynamic?

192.168.1.2 is IP of your system, not the IP of your internet connection.

generally MTNL provide dynamic IP , if you want static IP, you have to pay extra for that. Call MTNL to know about your connection.

go to the web page of your router it will show you the public IP currently assigned to you

Open Command Prompt......(Start --- Run --- cmd)

Now type netstat -n.

The IP which you see below the heading of Local Address is your IP address.
