Default NTOSKRNL.exe

whenever i get error lik "WINDOWS COULD NOT START B'COZ NTOSKRNL.exe IN ROOT>SYSTEM32>IS MISSING OR CORRUPT,PLEASE
RE-INSTALL THE PARTICULAR FILE" & SO I TRY 2 REPLACE THAT FILE FROM THE XP CD.BUT TIL NW I HAV NOT FIND ANY WAY 2 SOLVE DIS PROB. SO WHENEVER I GET DIS ERROR I HAV 2 RE-INSTALL XP...IS THERE ANY1 OTHER METHOD 2 SOLVE DIS ISSUE?

Have your hard disk checked. The last time I had this problem my disk was failing

that error indicates towards system instability.
I get this error quite frequently when i am benching
