For your first query go to Scheduled Tasks under Control Panel and disable all the tasks listed by Kaspersky.

For ur second query give the path name of your av's executable file(kav.exe) in the first box and in secon box give command line option as
%s /minimize

Currently in the Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 5 product line, only Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal supports command line instructions.

For more commandline options look at
http://www.kaspersky.com/faq?qid=156668415

If that does not work clear the command line option box and let the executable name remain there and then check it.
