AGP Vs VGA confusion????

can anyone link me to any URL that may clearify my doubts on the exact difference on VGA and AGP. both sounds so similar in functionality that i just cant get the clear picture.

VGA is a standard for Video display whereas AGP is an interface to attach Graphics cards to Mobo.
