session time out in IE issue

hi,
i have win XP pro, P-IV, 512 MB RAM, 40 GB HDD. whenever i open rediff or any other site for checking mails, it shows that " Session has expired" and then logs off. this has recently been in show.

well, i have installed firefox and it works fine. no session time out or other irretating stuffs.

so, what is it, that is showing me this headache.

to speak out, i have deleted cookies and cleared chache also. even uninstalled IE and reloaded it. now last option is that i have downloaded spyware (AdAware) and installed it. but have no Antivirus or SP2. is it the problem.

may please clearify my doubts.

Also, install an AntiVirus, it's essential. Some of the free and good AVs are AVG, Avast, AntiVir.

well, i have the result of hijackthis here at last!!!! if you do get something out of it then may pls do the needful. am highly desperate with the irretatating proble.

also i have loaded Avast! antivirus home edition. is it that am safe now???
