partition magic problem

i recently used PM to repartition my hard disk(40GB)
I have win xp
Now i have developed small problem every time xp boot ,after welcome screen i message is displayed
"xmnt2002 program not found ......skipping AUTOCHECK"
How can i rectify it.
It happened with me twice.

Do you have Linux along with Windows?
If not, then do this:-
Go to Command Prompt and then type fdisk/mbr and then press ENTER. Then reboot to check the problem.
If this doesnt solve, do this:-
Start your PC from WinXP SetUp CD and choose "Recovery Console" and then type the command fixboot c: and press ENTER.
Restart.

I do a lot of computer assembling though it's not my primary business, and I use Partition Magic all the time. It has never caused me any problem.

The above error shows that the partition job has not been completed successfully because xmnt2002.exe is the main program which partitions and is created only for the partitioning in a temp folder. Maybe you have to redo the partitioning.
