Default How do we copy protect a CD?

There is a friend of mine who is making a software for schools and intends to sell it. How do we make sure that the CD cannot be copied...so that people wont just buy 1 CD and copy it and distribute it?

Offtopic:
Its at these kind of times, that people understand the problems of piracy,
and how it feels to have hard work ripped off.

Ontopic:
There are softwares that do the job, but most of them are paid,
besides , even if u manage to lock the cd, they will just use Alcohol or smthing else.
Instead just try telling people not to distribute the hard work done.
A junior of mine back in college did the same with a music cd he published.

Regards,
ray

If the work means so much to him, ask him to buy a SecurDisc drive, all the LG Burners are SecurDisc enabled. It will allow him to protect his media with password protection, Digital Signature Protection, and Copy protection too!
