Default DMA


i use w2k .... cannot find settings 2 enable DMA 4 cdr & cdrom ...

searched from > device manager > r-click on drive > properties & driver tab only ...

settings tab is not present ...

have enabled DMA from BIOS ....

i had formatted my drive & reinstalled w2k recently

U can't find DMA there because it isn't supposed to be there. U can find th option to enable DMA in th IDE controller section. In Device Manager, go to IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers, select th IDE channel on which ur drive is attached (Primary/Secondary) and view its properties.U'll find th option for DMA in Advanced Settings.
