Default Upgrade & some ?`s


* when is the right time 2 buy\upgrade pc ?
sounds silly bt i know in that period u can save money ....

* how 2 find out hdd u r buying from vendor is new ?

* if i buy a SATA\PATA hdd now, will i b able 2 use it as master drive after i upgrade MB & processor say C2D ?

* will my AGP card get support in any new MB ?

There is no right time to upgrade your PC. But sometimes if something new is right over the horizon, then it makes sense in waiting for sometime because prices may come down.

As long as you buy it at some good place, it will be new. New HDDs are not formatted and you can make it out by the looks.(Not a reliable method to make out whether its new though)

Yes. Go for SATA as its new and faster.

NO. AGP is an old interface and new motherboards dont support it. Get a new Graphics card instead or settle down with onboard graphics if you are not a gamer.

@nvidia ..... thanx 4 ur replies ....

regarding HDD, if i visit a shop 2 buy a NEW hdd .... any clue or sortta hint about its make year or is it just TRUST|LUCK ?

u know HERE, after buying from a shop u rn`t entertained ?
