It depends on the MOBO that the CPU can be Over Clocked or not !!!
Which MOBO are you talking about ???

there is absolutely no difference in OCing a Athlon system or a 64 system. It still follows the same principle as above. The only factors which matter are CPU clock multiplier and the mhz (as in 166mhz or 170 and so on).
If these two can be adjusted then yes your cpu can be OCed.

boot your system and goto the BIOS. From there there should be an option to increase the FSB. Increase it in steps of 4. Reboot. Check the system for stability. Form a complete tutorial here it is:

So that it means increasing the FSB increases the speed of the processor.

Is that what u mean

yes FSB and also the clock multplier. Read thru the tutorial mate. Its quite simple. And also do be careful. Increment it in small steps. Remem OCing is not officially supported by the CPU manufacturers and hence if you do fry ur cpu then u wont get a replacement. Read thru as much as u can b4 u even start attempting to OC

On Normal Athlon 64's the Multipliers are locked.
For exampe if you have 3000+ which works @ 2.0 Ghz then the Multiplier is 10,you can reduce it but cant increase it above 10.

Also you can easily OC with that mobo+cpu.
